 Buena Vista Street

Passing through the main entrance of DCA you’ll find yourself on Buena Vista Street, an idealized depiction of the type of Los Angeles neighborhood where a young Walt Disney may have lived and worked when he arrived in Southern California in 1923. The idyllic version of the “City of Angels” is lined with quaint mom and pop shops and markets, a big city department store and a corner cafe. Buena Vista Street is anchored by the Carthay Circle Restaurant, a spectacular dining experience housed in a detailed reproduction of the iconic theatre where Walt Disney’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs premiered in 1937. The Red Car Trolley provides transportation up and down the bustling boulevard – a nostalgic reminder of the energy of Los Angeles in the 1920s and 1930s.
